This coming Sunday our guest preacher will be Dr. Philip Yoo once again. While we have received no sermon title this week, we do know the scripture readings for our worship service. They are as follows: Exodus 14:19-31, Psalm 19 and Matthew 18:21-35. Also, this Sunday’s worship shall include our annual September COMMISSIONING the CHURCH SCHOOL TEACHERS. We all are most grateful for our dedicated roster of teachers and the young families they serve.
Please be reminded that the basement washrooms have switched their gender designation. The washroom beneath the first floor kitchen is now for women and girls. The washroom near the basement boiler room is now for use by men and boys. The main floor washroom is available for both genders.
Our LAWN BBQ this Sunday is on track to go ahead whether indoors or outside as weather forecasts are “iffy”. Our fellowship hour menu is hamburgers, hot dogs, green and potato salads, tea, coffee, juice and water, plus desserts. If you are still wondering what you can donate, a bowel of potato salad for 10-12 people would be welcome. Please email John-Peter Smit about your food donation. We still need lots of helpers for setting up and cleaning up. The children will be sure to enjoy the bouncy castle once again at our annual LAWN BBQ to get re-acquainted after summer time away.
